today i was able to handle cyproit milkbowl fragments.
1400-1500 bce.
in my hands.
now holding my fingerprints.
this isn’t what I was able to work with, but it is a depiction of a similar vessel and whole.
I am incredibly lucky.

I took a tour with my school group of some major sights, and while crossing the Seine we paused on this bridge. Each chain-link side is decorated with closed locks, many of which bear inscriptions. Today is my 20th birthday.
Twenty years ago, two entire decades ago, my mom was in a new york hospital getting ready to welcome her first child.
It is so very hard to understand and comprehend and accept. I feel like I have lived a lifetime- well, since I have, since my lifetime is my own and… it makes sense to me.
And I feel so young. My first internship I was seventeen and working with twenty three and twenty four...
